This is Not Insurance. It is a discount medical program. It does not replace COBRA or any other medical insurance program nor is it a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan. WellCardRX does not qualify for essential coverage under the Affordable Care Act (ACA-ObamaCare). Cardholders are responsible for paying the discounted cost at the time of service from participating providers. By using this card, you agree to pay the entire prescription cost less any applicable discount. Savings may vary by drug and by pharmacy. Savings are based on actual drug purchases using the discount card. Prescription claims through this program will not be eligible for reimbursement and cannot be used in conjunction with any third party payor program including Medicaid, Medicare, Worker’s Compensation or any other government program. This program does not guarantee the quality of the services or products offered by individual providers. WellCardRX has no membership fee nor is participation in any organization or purchase of any good or service required to obtain or use WellCardRX. The DMPO does make available a list of all program providers which includes their name, city & state, and medical specialty prior to purchase, upon request.
